This is an opportunity to visit the main attractions of the island of Corfu and its capital within one day. Our tour will start at Achillion, which was once the summer residence of the Austro-Hungarian Empress Elizabeth. Here you can also see the landing planes that fly just a few meters above the monastery. Island of Pontikonissi - the place that was mentioned in a lot of ancient myths and legends. The viewing platform of Kanoni Peninsula will allow you to appreciate the picturesque landscape. Corfu Town (the capital of the island of Corfu) is one of the most elegant cities of modern Greece, and in the past - the city of the Venetian aristocracy. The symbol of this city is Liston Street, a small copy of the Parisian Rue de Rivoli. Corfu Town is a city of two fortresses: on the one hand, it is protected by the Old Byzantine Fortress (1546), on the other hand, by the New Fortress, built to protect the city from the Turkish invasion in the 16th century.
